Full Itinerary Curious what your week in Belize could look like? While each tour offers unique touches based on the season and small group preferences, the sample itinerary below gives a detailed look at the experiences we’ve thoughtfully arranged for this departure. Days unfold with a balance of guided exploration and time to relax—always supported by our team on the ground. Day 1 – Saturday, November 1 Arrival & Inland Transfer to San Ignacio Upon arrival at Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE), you’ll be welcomed by our local team and begin your journey inland with a scenic two-hour drive west through Belize’s varied landscapes. After check-in at your boutique accommodations in San Ignacio, enjoy a relaxed evening to settle in, explore the local dining scene, or unwind on your private veranda as the sun sets over the hills. Day 2 – Sunday, November 2 Ancient Maya Ruins Tour Step into Belize’s rich past with a guided exploration of one of the country’s legendary Maya sites. Your day may include Xunantunich, Caracol, or Cahal Pech—each offering a unique glimpse into the ancient civilization through towering pyramids, ceremonial plazas, and expansive views of the surrounding forest. The pace and site will be thoughtfully selected for your group. Return to San Ignacio for time to relax or explore town. Day 3 – Monday, November 3 Nature & Culture in the Cayo District Today is yours to enjoy one of San Ignacio’s many immersive experiences. Depending on your interests, you may opt for a hands-on cacao workshop, visit a local botanical garden, participate in a Garifuna or Maya cultural demonstration, or simply relax and birdwatch from the property. Optional activities will be available for pre-selection prior to departure or booked on-site based on availability. Day 4 – Tuesday, November 4 Transfer to the Caribbean Coast Your group will transfer back across the country by road and then take a short scenic flight to Ambergris Caye. Settle into your beachside accommodations in San Pedro where white sand, sea breezes, and laid-back coastal charm await. This afternoon is yours to enjoy—dip into the Caribbean, sip fresh juice poolside, or stroll along the water at sunset. Day 5 – Wednesday, November 5 Snorkeling Belize’s Vibrant Reef Experience the magic of Belize’s marine ecosystems with a guided snorkeling excursion to one of the island’s premier reef sites. Depending on conditions and logistics, locations may include Hol Chan Marine Reserve, Mexico Rocks, or another vibrant section of the reef. Expect encounters with schools of colorful fish, rays, and coral gardens. All equipment is provided, and your guides will ensure a safe, inspiring experience for all skill levels. Day 6 – Thursday, November 6 Relaxation or Optional Adventures Enjoy a full day to rest or explore. Optional activities include kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, sailing, beach massages, and additional snorkeling or diving. You might choose to bike around the island, visit a local sea turtle rehabilitation center, or simply savor the beach with a good book and a cold drink. Day 7 – Friday, November 7 Return to the Mainland & Farewell Dinner After a final morning on the island, you'll take a short return flight to the mainland and check in for your final night in Belize City. Enjoy time to reflect, rest, or explore the area near your accommodations before gathering for a celebratory farewell dinner with your fellow travelers. Day 8 – Saturday, November 8 Departure Depart Belize at your own pace. Airport transfers will be arranged based on individual flight schedules.
