Whether you're chasing adventure, culture, or calm—this 7-night journey offers something for every traveler.

Day 1
Saturday, February 1
Arrive in Belize at your own pace. Transfer to your rainforest retreat in San Ignacio. Spend the remainder of the day settling in.

Days 2–3
Sunday–Monday, February 2 & 3
Enjoy the sounds of the jungle each morning. One day includes a guided visit to a nearby Maya site. Optional experiences like ziplining, birdwatching, or cacao tasting are available.

Day 4
Tuesday, February 4
Travel by ground transfer and internal flight to the reef. Settle into your beachfront resort and enjoy a quiet evening or stroll the coast at sunset.

Days 5–6
Wednesday–Thursday, February 5 & 6
Snorkel Belize’s reef on an included guided excursion. The remaining time is yours—relax by the sea or opt into sailing, kayaking, or other curated experiences.

Day 7
Friday, February 7
Return to Belize City. For your final evening, gather for a farewell group dinner.

Day 8
Saturday, February 8
Transfer to the airport for departure.

deposit & payment schedule

To confirm your reservation with Exploring Earth Together, a deposit is required at the time of booking. Payment timelines vary based on how far in advance you book.

We work closely with boutique eco-lodges and resorts across Belize—many with limited availability and firm cancellation policies. Our payment schedule reflects these realities while offering flexibility for early planners.

• 10% deposit at time of booking
• 40% due 120 days before departure
• Final 50% due 90 days before departure

Booking 3–6 months in advance
• 50% deposit at time of booking
• Final 50% due 60 days before departure

Booking within 90 days of departure
• 75% deposit at time of booking
• Final 25% due 30 days before departure

Booking within 30 days of departure
• Full payment due at time of booking

cancellation

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be as flexible as possible while considering the commitments made to our partners.​

  • 61-90 days before departure: 25% of the total program price is non-refundable

  • 31-60 days before departure: 50% of the total program price is non-refundable

  • 30 days or fewer before departure: 100% of the total program price is non-refundable

Please note: Additional cancellation fees may apply for select accommodations, exclusive use of venues, or travel during holiday or festival seasons.

What's included

Accommodation

  • Seven nights at hand-selected, premium hotels — a curated mix of rainforest stays and beachfront resorts.

Meals

  • Group breakfast on day two and a farewell group dinner on day seven. All other meals are at your leisure for flexibility and choice.

Transportation

  • Private ground transfers throughout the tour, plus internal flight(s) and/or water taxi between inland and coastal destinations.

  • Activities

  • Two core experiences are included with every tour:

  • A guided visit to an ancient Maya ruin

  • A snorkeling experience at the Belize Barrier Reef Snorkeling gear is provided.

​On-Tour Support

  • One of the company founders or a senior team member will travel with the group to provide coordination, guidance, and local insight throughout the journey.

  • All pricing is based on double occupancy. Single travelers may request their own room for an additional fee or indicate interest in being paired with another guest to share a room and access double occupancy pricing. Families traveling with children may request shared rooming, subject to availability and property layout.

  • International airfare to and from Belize

  • Travel insurance (strongly recommended for medical coverage, trip interruptions, and cancellations)

  • Personal expenses, including shopping, additional meals, and optional activities not listed in the itinerary

  • Gratuities for local guides during optional add-on activities and for hotel housekeeping staff

  • Alcoholic beverages, spa treatments, and any services not explicitly stated as included

Additional Terms & Conditions Travel Insurance We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes coverage for trip cancellation, medical expenses, baggage loss, and travel delays. Exploring Earth Together is not responsible for costs incurred due to personal health issues, natural disasters, airline disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our control. Responsibility & Liability Exploring Earth Together acts as an intermediary between our guests and accommodations, transport providers, and local tour operators. While we work with trusted partners, we are not liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss resulting from their actions or from unforeseen events. Participation in all activities is voluntary and at your own risk. Guests are responsible for assessing their physical abilities and comfort level with each activity. Guest Requirements & Health Disclosure Guests must inform us of any medical conditions, mobility concerns, or dietary restrictions at the time of booking. We will do our best to accommodate individual needs, but cannot guarantee that all activities or accommodations will be suitable in every case. Changes by the Guest Requests to change or transfer your reservation must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability and any costs incurred as a result of the change. Within 60 days of departure, changes may be treated as cancellations and are subject to the cancellation policy. Changes by Exploring Earth Together While we make every effort to deliver the itinerary as described, we reserve the right to make adjustments due to weather, availability, or other conditions outside our control. In the rare event that we must cancel a tour, guests will receive a full refund of all payments made, which constitutes full settlement. Force Majeure Exploring Earth Together is not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of God, travel bans, government regulations, or airline disruptions. Photography & Media Consent By participating in a tour with Exploring Earth Together, you consent to the use of any photographs or videos taken during the trip for promotional purposes, unless you notify us in writing before the tour begins. Governing Law These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska, USA.
