Full Itinerary Curious what your week in Belize could look like? While each tour offers unique touches based on the season and small group preferences, the sample itinerary below gives a detailed look at the experiences we've thoughtfully arranged for this departure. Days unfold with a balance of guided exploration and time to relax—always supported by our team on the ground. Day 1 – Saturday, December 27 Arrive in Belize at your own pace. Guests arrive throughout the day into Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport (BZE), where our team will greet you and coordinate your approximately 60-minute transfer to the lodge. After settling in at your premium riverside accommodation near the village of Carmelita, unwind from your journey or enjoy your surroundings. Dinner is open tonight, with options available at the hotel or nearby. Day 2 – Sunday, December 28 Step into ancient Maya history. Today features a half- or full-day visit to one of Belize’s remarkable Maya archaeological sites. These towering temples and carved facades offer breathtaking views and deep insight into the country’s cultural heritage. Exact location will be chosen for your group to ensure the right pace and experience. Return with time to relax—whether you prefer a peaceful moment on your veranda or a quiet dinner under the stars. Day 3 – Monday, December 29 Choose your perfect pace in the jungle. Enjoy a full day to explore at your own rhythm. Optional tours include jungle trolley rides through savanna ecosystems, bamboo rafting excursions, and wildlife viewing opportunities. Guests may also choose to remain onsite to enjoy the peaceful riverside setting. Our team can help arrange guided outings or independent relaxation depending on your preference. Dinner remains open tonight. Day 4 – Tuesday, December 30 Cross the country—from jungle to reef. Begin your day with a drive back to Belize City, where you’ll board a domestic flight to Ambergris Caye. Upon arrival in San Pedro, transfer to your premium beachfront resort. Spend your first afternoon on the island however you choose—relaxing poolside, walking along the shore, or enjoying the tropical breeze. Dinner is open tonight, and the vibrant town center is just a short distance away. Day 5 – Wednesday, December 31 Snorkel Belize’s iconic coral reef. Celebrate the final day of the year with a guided marine experience to one of Belize’s celebrated snorkeling sites, such as Hol Chan Marine Reserve or Mexico Rocks. These waters are home to a vibrant array of sea life—from shimmering schools of fish to coral gardens and, at times, sea turtles or stingrays. After returning to the resort, the remainder of your day is yours to unwind, explore San Pedro, or prepare for the evening’s festivities. Day 6 – Thursday, January 1 Welcome the new year with a day at leisure. Ease into the new year with a full day to do as much—or as little—as you’d like. Optional experiences include massage treatments, paddleboarding, sailing, or quiet walks along the beach. Our team is available to assist with any arrangements. Whether you spend the day basking in the sun or exploring the island, this is your time to recharge. Day 7 – Friday, January 2 Return to the mainland for your final night. After a relaxing morning, take a short domestic flight back to the mainland. You’ll settle in at a comfortable hotel in Belize City, giving you time to rest and prepare for your journey home. In the evening, we’ll gather for a final group dinner—an opportunity to reflect on your journey and connect with new friends before departure. Day 8 – Saturday, January 3 Depart Belize. Transfers to the international airport are arranged based on your flight schedule. Whether you leave early or enjoy a few final hours in Belize, we’ll ensure your departure is seamless.
